Messenger JSON to PDF without uploading your chats
Converters for Messenger JSON are mostly paid desktop programs or websites that want your chats uploaded. A browser can do the job: open the chat in a reader, print it, and choose Save as PDF.

1. One chat to PDF, free
- Open your download in Readback: the ZIP, the unzipped folder or the
message_1.jsonfiles. - Pick the chat. Set "Your messages are from" to your name so your messages sit on the right.
- Press Print this chat. Readback lays out the whole chat, first message to last, with its photos.
- In the print window choose Save as PDF as the printer. Turn on Background graphics under More settings to keep the blue of your own messages.
Videos and voice messages cannot go on paper; the PDF names them where they were sent.
2. Every chat at once (Pro)

Tips for a clean PDF
- Long chats: a chat of tens of thousands of messages makes a PDF of hundreds of pages. Search for the part you need first, or keep the text file instead.
- Time zone: times are shown in your computer's time zone. Say so if the PDF is evidence, or use the UTC column of the spreadsheet.

Can I convert Messenger JSON to PDF online without uploading it?
