Open your Reddit data export and read it again
Reddit's data request arrives as a ZIP of CSV files: saved_posts.csv, comments.csv, chat_history.csv and about thirty more. Choose it here to see every saved post and comment, past the 1,000 the app shows, and your posts, messages and chats, sorted and searchable.
Reddit ends RSS feeds on November 13, 2026, and starts removing public API access on January 12, 2027. Apps that export your saved posts through that API may stop. The data request is the way Reddit itself offers. The dates and what changes

Questions
How do I open my Reddit data export?
Choose the ZIP Reddit sent you, its unzipped folder or the CSV files on this page. Threadkeep reads them in your browser and shows your saved posts and comments, posts, comments, votes, messages, chats and communities, each in its own tab, with search across all of them. Excel opens one CSV at a time, but a post with line breaks spreads over several rows there.
Does the data request include saved posts past 1,000?
Yes. saved_posts.csv and saved_comments.csv list the saves Reddit keeps for your account, and they are not cut at 1,000 the way Reddit's saved list is. Each row is an id and a link, so a deleted post still shows up as its link. More on saved posts in the export
Why do my saved posts have no titles?
The saved files hold only the id and the link of each item. Reddit writes the start of the title into every link, in lower case and without punctuation, so Threadkeep shows that as the title and adds the community from the same link.
How long does a Reddit data request take?
Reddit's help page says it may take up to 30 days to prepare your data. When it is ready, Reddit sends a notification to your Reddit inbox with a link to download it, or in some cases an email to your verified address.
Is my Reddit data uploaded?
No. The files are read by this page on your own computer. Nothing in them is sent anywhere, and closing the tab discards them. We count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics: no cookies, no personal data, and never your files. When you click a Pro button, a counter of our own adds one to a daily total for this tool, with the page and the kind of site that sent you: no cookies, no personal data, no IP address kept, and never your files.
Will the data request stop when Reddit closes its public API?
Reddit's announcement covers RSS feeds, which end on November 13, 2026, and the public Data API, which starts closing for unregistered apps on January 12, 2027. It says nothing about the data request, and Reddit's help page for it was still live on October 29, 2026. Apps that read your saved list through the API are what may stop.
What does Threadkeep Pro add?
Pro costs $8, paid once. It saves every saved post and comment as a bookmarks file, in folders by community, that Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and Raindrop.io import, and the whole export in one ZIP: pages that open offline, Markdown notes for Obsidian or Notion, and spreadsheets of your saves, posts, comments, votes, messages and chats. Reading, searching, sorting and saving one conversation as text stay free.
Is Threadkeep made by Reddit?
No. Threadkeep is an independent tool by Peak Apps Studio and is not affiliated with Reddit, Inc. Reddit is a trademark of Reddit, Inc., named here only to say which files the tool opens.
