Discord's package.zip is a folder of JSON files. Since September 2026 its user.json also holds the age signals Discord uses to sort accounts into adult and teen groups. Choose the ZIP here to see each one explained, and to read and search every message you sent.
Discord began placing every account in an adult, teen or unconfirmed age group on September 23, 2026, using a model that estimates age from how the account is used. Its help article lists the fields in the package and adds that the support team "cannot assist you with going through your Data Package". If your group is wrong

The age fields, in plain words
Discord's help article "Your Discord Data Package", updated in September 2026, lists these in the Account part of the package:

date_of_birth | The birthday you gave when you signed up. Under 18 it is cut to the first of the month; over 18 it shows as 01-01-0001. |
age_assurance | Each age check you did: the vendor, the method and when. |
estimated_age_group | The outcome of that check: an exact age for teens (13, 14, 15) or a band for adults (such as 22-25). |
inferred_age_group | The group Discord's age estimation model placed you in: Teen or Adult. |
predicted_age | A different model used "to power certain features in the app". Discord says it does not decide your age group. |
Where the package comes from
- In Discord, open User Settings (the cogwheel) and the Data & Privacy tab.
- Under Request your data, press Request Data and tick Account (the age signals), Messages and Servers. On a phone, Discord sends all of it.
- Wait for the email with the download link. Discord says it can take up to 30 days, and the link then works for 30 days.

How do I open my Discord data package?
Choose package.zip from Discord's email on this page, or its unzipped folder. Agelens reads it in your browser and shows the age signals in Account/user.json first, then every message you sent by conversation, your servers and your account, with search across the messages.
Where is my predicted age in the Discord data package?
In Account/user.json, since Discord's help article was updated in September 2026: predicted_age, next to inferred_age_group (the group Discord's age estimation model placed you in) and age_assurance with estimated_age_group (the result of an age check). Older packages carry predicted_age and predicted_gender as events in the files under Activity. Agelens finds both. More on predicted age
Why does my package show no age group?
Either the package was made before Discord added the age signals in mid-September 2026, or Account was not ticked when you asked for it. Request a new package and tick Account.
How long does a Discord data package take?
Discord says up to 30 days. The download link arrives at the email address the account had when you asked, and it works for 30 days. Disabling or deleting the account before the link arrives cancels the request.
Does the package include other people's messages?
No. Discord's package holds only the messages you sent, by channel, so every conversation shows your side of it.
Is my Discord package uploaded?
No. The files are read by this page on your own computer. Nothing in them is sent anywhere, and closing the tab discards them. We count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics: no cookies, no personal data, and never your files.
