Fillbook

Open your Fuelio fuel and cost log on a PC, Mac or any browser

Fuelio runs on Android and iPhone only. Save its CSV from the app, open it here, and your fill-ups and costs are on the big screen: consumption, cost per kilometre, cost per month and every entry. The file is read in this tab and never uploaded. The app’s own help page says where the export goes.

Open your Fuelio file

The CSV the app saves under Settings, Backup, Export CSV (one file per vehicle), the file Backup All makes, or the zips its Google Drive backup keeps. Choose one file or several at once.

Or drag the files onto this box. The sample is two made-up vehicles, built in your browser.

Your log is read in this tab and never uploaded, and Fillbook never changes the file. We count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics: no cookies, no personal data, and never your files.

Every year and vehicle, and a history you keep

  • Every year in your files and every vehicle you open, with a year by year table.
  • A PDF service and cost history book: a cover with the vehicle, totals per year and category, then every service and cost with its date, odometer reading and amount. A4 or Letter. Handy when you sell the car.
  • A CSV of every cost and fill-up for expenses and tax: dates as year-month-day, an Excel mode with semicolons and decimal commas, and an optional business-use share.
  • A comparison of your vehicles: consumption, cost per kilometre, cost per month and fuel price side by side, in the units you pick.

Get your Fuelio file onto a computer

Fuelio saves its data as CSV files. These steps follow the app’s own help page.

On Android

  1. In Fuelio open Settings, then Backup, then Export CSV, and pick the vehicle. One file is made for each vehicle.
  2. The files are in the Fuelio/backup-csv folder of your phone’s storage. Backup All puts every vehicle in one file in Fuelio/backup-local, and this page opens that too. Send the files to your computer by cable, e-mail or any file sharing app.
  3. Or use the app’s Google Drive or Dropbox backup. On Google Drive the files are in the Android/Fuelio folder (backup-csv, and backup-sync with one zip per vehicle); on Dropbox they are in Apps/Fuelio. Download them on the computer. This page opens the zips as they are.
  4. Choose the file or files on this page.

On iPhone

Fuelio for iPhone can export your data as a CSV file and keep a backup in iCloud Drive, its App Store page says. Send the CSV to your computer by AirDrop, e-mail or iCloud Drive and choose it here. We could not check the iPhone menus ourselves, so if a step is named differently, look for Export or CSV in the app’s settings.

On the computer

Choose the file or files on this page, or drop them on the box. Several vehicles? Choose all the files at once and switch between them. Nothing needs installing.

The export steps and folder names come from Fuelio’s help page on backups, last checked 22 October 2026. The file layout is public: it is the one the open-source FuelioImport converter writes. More in where Fuelio saves your log.

Questions

Is there a Fuelio app for Windows or Mac?

Fuelio’s own site lists Android and iOS only. Fillbook is not a Fuelio app: it reads the CSV the app exports, so you keep logging on your phone and look at the log on a computer.

Is my data uploaded?

No. The file is read by this page in your browser tab and nothing from it is sent anywhere. Apart from the visit counter (Cloudflare Web Analytics, no cookies), the only network call is the check of a Pro key with Gumroad. You can see it yourself: open your browser’s network panel, then open a file.

What does the free version show?

One vehicle and the last 12 months of its entries: the totals, average consumption, cost per kilometre, cost per month, three charts and every entry. Pro opens every year and vehicle, the PDF history book, the CSV for expenses and the comparison.

How is consumption worked out?

By the usual full-tank method: the fuel put in since the last full tank divided by the distance since that fill-up. Partial fill-ups are added to the next full one, and a fill-up marked as missed breaks the chain, so it gets no figure. A result below 1 or above 80 l/100 km is treated as a typing mistake and left out, and the page says how many.

Which units does it read?

Kilometres or miles, and litres or US or UK gallons, whichever the vehicle is set to, with consumption in the vehicle’s own unit (l/100 km, mpg, km/l or km/gal). A vehicle logged in another unit, such as kWh for an electric car, keeps the unit its file names, with consumption per 100 km or 100 miles. There is no currency in the file, so the label after the amounts is yours to set.

Can it open the Backup All file?

Yes. Backup All saves every vehicle in one zip file. Fillbook reads each vehicle from it and leaves the photos inside alone. The zips Fuelio keeps on Google Drive open the same way, even a whole folder of them downloaded as one zip.

Will it change my file or my Fuelio data?

No. The page only reads the file. Nothing is written back to the app or to the file.
