Who sees Collections in Bing Saves
Microsoft's help page says: "only MSA users can see their previously saved collections at https://bing.com/saves." MSA means a personal Microsoft account. The same page says that for personal accounts the content "remains accessible through Bing Saves instead of export" (Organize your ideas with Collections in Microsoft Edge). A reader wrote in the Microsoft Q&A thread of June 2026 that work or Microsoft 365 accounts will not have data there (How do I recover all of my Collections in Microsoft Edge? (June 5, 2026)).
It will not load, or shows nothing
- Use the same personal account as Edge. Check which one: in Edge, click your profile picture. A different Microsoft account, or a work or school one, shows an empty Bing Saves.
- Try the second address. A volunteer moderator wrote on 15 July 2026 that collections should be available at edgeservices.bing.com/saves (How to find Collections now that it is gone (July 14, 2026)). We found no Microsoft page that explains how it differs from bing.com/saves.
- Open it in an InPrivate window or another browser. This is what an Independent Advisor asked a user to try on 19 October 2026, when someone wrote "I cannot access Bing Saves which was billed as the destination for Microsoft Edge collections" (Cannot access Bing Saves for Collections (October 19, 2026)).
- Check the file on your PC. If the page is empty, your collections may never have synced to the account. Stashback opens the collectionsSQLite file Edge left in your profile folder, and Edge Collections file is empty says what to do when that has nothing either.
You are not the only one who cannot find it. In the June 2026 thread one reader could not find the collections under Bing (13 June) and another could not find Bing Saves at all (15 June), and the thread is tagged "Same question" by more than 80 people.
Keep a copy while it works
Microsoft's page names no download for personal accounts (Organize your ideas with Collections in Microsoft Edge). What users report:
- Save all tabs. A moderator suggested on 6 June 2026 to open a collection's items on Bing Saves and press Ctrl+Shift+D (Save all tabs) into a new Favorites folder, one folder per collection. One reader wrote on 10 June that the new folder was created and nothing was saved to it (How do I recover all of my Collections in Microsoft Edge? (June 5, 2026)). Open the folder afterwards to check.
- Copy by hand. Slow, but it needs nothing installed and no password given to anyone. Open each page and bookmark it, or paste its address into a note.
- The file on your PC. If it holds your pages, Stashback saves a bookmarks file and a spreadsheet with the notes.
Be careful with tools that ask you to sign in to your Microsoft account on their site, and with browser extensions that can read every page you open. Stashback never asks for a password; it reads only the file you choose.
Will Bing Saves go away?
Microsoft's help page gives no end date for Bing Saves (checked October 28, 2026), and we do not know of a Microsoft statement either way. Whether it stays is Microsoft's decision, so copy what you need now.
Open your Collections file
Choose the collectionsSQLite file from your Edge profile folder: every collection appears with its pages, notes and pictures, and you can save it all as a bookmarks file or a spreadsheet. Free, and nothing is uploaded.
Questions
Why is Bing Saves empty?
Microsoft says only personal Microsoft accounts can see their previously saved collections there. A work or school account, a different Microsoft account, or collections that never synced all show nothing.
Is edgeservices.bing.com/saves the same as bing.com/saves?
A volunteer moderator on Microsoft Q&A gave it as an address for collections on 15 July 2026. We found no Microsoft page that explains the difference, so try both.
Can I export my collections from Bing Saves?
Microsoft's help page lists an export for work and school accounts only. For personal accounts it names Bing Saves instead of an export.
