What Weebly says
From the archive's own help page: "Blog and store pages aren't included in the export as they rely directly on our database" (Back Up Your Site). So the ZIP cannot hold your posts, your products or your orders.
The store: three exports
Weebly's help center documents CSV exports for the parts of a store. All of them are emailed to you as a link, so start them early:
| What | Where in Weebly | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Items (products) | Items, then Site Items; click the ". . ." icon and choose Export | A CSV file with one line per item, and one per size or colour combination. Weebly says you get an email with a link (Import, Export, and Batch Update Items with a CSV File). |
| Orders | The Orders page, then Export Orders | A CSV file, or an Intuit QuickBooks .iif file. Choose all orders, orders since your last export, or a date range in YYYY-MM-DD form (Export Orders). |
| Email contacts | Marketing, Contacts, Mailing Lists, then Export (one list or All Contacts) | A CSV file of the contacts (Export Your Contacts). |
The items file is also a way into a new store: Weebly's own page says to use its import feature "if you're moving your items from another provider". Other store builders have their own CSV layouts. Squarespace, for one, accepts products from its own .csv template (Importing content from WordPress, Blogger, or Tumblr). Expect to rearrange the columns.
The blog: copy it by hand
We searched Weebly's help center on October 28, 2026 for a way to export a blog and found pages on creating, scheduling and managing posts, none on exporting them. The notice about the closure points to Download My Data for your content, but does not say whether blog posts are in it, and we have not tested it. The dependable method is the plain one:
- Open your blog page in the Weebly editor and list every post: title, date, category.
- Open each post and copy its text into a document. Save each picture from the editor's media library, with its name.
- Comments are separate from the post text. Copy them as well if you want to keep them.
- Write the old address of each post next to its title, so you can set up redirects on the new site.
Do this first for the posts people actually read. A post list sorted by traffic, if you have statistics, makes a good order. If your blog was public for years, the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine may also hold copies of some posts. That is a fallback and not a promise.
What Rehoused does with blog and store pages
When a page in the archive is a blog page or a store page, Rehoused still writes it with whatever the archive holds, and lists it in the moving report as a blog or store page whose posts or products are not in the archive. Menu links that go to pages the archive does not have are listed too, so you can see which parts of the site are still on Weebly. Rehoused does not try to guess posts it cannot see.
The deadline for copying posts is the same as for everything else: Weebly's notice says login access ends on December 26, 2026.
Open your Weebly archive
Choose the archive ZIP Weebly emailed you: the same pages come back as a clean website with your pictures in place, and a report lists what the archive could not bring. Free, and nothing is uploaded.
Questions
Does the Weebly archive include my blog?
No. Weebly says blog and store pages are not included in the export because they rely directly on its database.
How do I export products from a Weebly store?
Go to Items, then Site Items, click the ". . ." icon and choose Export. Weebly emails a link to a CSV file with one line per item and per option combination.
Can I export my Weebly blog posts?
Weebly's help center describes no blog export. Copy the posts by hand from the editor before your login ends on December 26, 2026, and check whether Download My Data holds them.
