These terms cover your use of the tools on peakappsstudio.com (Peak Apps Tools) and of their Pro licences. By using a tool, you agree to them. A tool can have terms of its own, for example Chatbound; where it does, they apply to that tool beside these.

Who we are

Peak Apps Tools are made by Peak Apps Studio. You can reach us at info@peakappsstudio.com. How your data is handled is explained on the privacy and licenses page.

What the tools do

Each tool does one job in your browser, free and without an account. The tools also have guides and examples. What a tool stores on your device and what it checks is on the privacy and licenses page.

Check the results before you use them

You are responsible for what you do with a result. Check the figures, dates, sizes and wording of every file or document a tool makes before you print, send, file or rely on it. The tools, guides and examples are general information. They are not legal, tax or accounting advice, so if you are unsure, ask a professional.

Pro

• Some tools have a Pro licence that adds features. What Pro adds to a tool, and what it costs in US dollars, is on that tool’s page.
• After you buy, you get a licence key. Enter it in the tool to turn Pro on. The tool checks the key about once a week, and Pro switches off if the purchase is refunded. Please keep your key to yourself and use it for your own work, or for one organisation where the page of the tool says so.
• Our order process is conducted by our online resellers Paddle.com and Gumroad. They are the Merchant of Record for all our orders, handle payment, sales tax/VAT and refunds, and their own terms also apply to your purchase.

Refunds

How to ask for a refund and how you are paid back are on the refund policy page. Nothing in these terms takes away a right to a refund or to cancel that the law of your country gives you as a consumer.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• try to get around the Pro licence check, or share licence keys publicly;
• attack, overload or probe the site, or send it large numbers of automated requests;
• use the tools for anything that breaks the law.

We may block access for anyone who does.

No warranty

We work to keep the tools accurate and running, but they are provided as they are and as available, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that they will be free of errors, always available or suitable for your particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost business or lost data, that come from using the tools or from what you make with them. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Pro. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the tools or Pro change. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the tools after a change, the updated terms apply.
